Alex Camargo, PsyD is a New York–based psychologist whose work sits at the intersection of psychedelic therapy, psychodynamic practice, and attachment-based care. In his private practice, Alex provides ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and supports clients through psychedelic harm reduction and integration.

Alex is a lead therapist, consultant, trainer, and mentor on multiple FDA-approved studies investigating psilocybin-assisted therapy, and he serves as a Lead Session Monitor on trials exploring LSD for Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. He has trained three cohorts of facilitators for Oregon’s psilocybin licensing program, and is a trainer for Colorado’s state psilocybin facilitator licensing program.
