Khanh Diep (KD), LMSW

Psychotherapist

Khanh Diep (KD), LMSW (she/they) is a therapist who works with people navigating complex trauma, high-achiever burnout, and the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals. She believes healing is found in relationship, even as everyone carries an inner healing wisdom. Therapy with KD is a co-created space where emotional safety is the foundation for vulnerable material to emerge and healing can happen. Her goal is to help clients strengthen that inner wisdom, so they can carry it through life: to reconnect with what matters most, and find refuge when challenges arise.

Her approach draws from psychodynamic therapy, parts-work, and somatic experiencing. She’s interested in understanding how a lifetime of experiences shapes one’s way of thinking and being today. As a queer immigrant and trauma survivor, she understands the importance of building on hard-won wins to cultivate resilience and self-worth. KD also incorporates mindfulness practices such as guided visualization and meditation for nervous system regulation.

KD graduated from Columbia University’s Psychedelic Therapy Training Program with a Master’s degree in Social Work. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing from San Francisco State University, where she spent her early adulthood learning about technology, queer theory and martial arts.
