Rebecca Lowen, LMSW
Psychotherapist
Rebecca Lowen, LMSW, is a psychotherapist whose work is grounded in trauma-informed, somatic, and relational psychotherapy. She works with adults struggling with anxiety, trauma, and depression, creating a safe and collaborative space for clients to deepen self-understanding and reconnect with their innate capacity for healing. Her approach emphasizes curiosity, embodiment, and the transformative potential of the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for meaningful and lasting change.
Rebecca provides ketamine-assisted psychotherapy as well as preparation and integration therapy for clients working with expanded states of consciousness. She believes the therapeutic process extends beyond the medicine session itself and lies in the ongoing integration of insight into daily life. Her work is informed by psychodynamic, somatic, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based practices, with an emphasis on helping clients make sense of emotional experiences through both reflection and felt awareness.
Rebecca earned her Master of Social Work from Columbia University and was part of the second-ever cohort of the Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Training Program. Her training includes clinical work providing preparation and integration therapy for individuals receiving ketamine-assisted therapy, supporting clients in translating profound internal experiences into grounded and sustainable transformation. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis.
