We combine advanced clinical practices with the deep insights of psychedelic-assisted therapy, traditional psychotherapy, somatic healing, breathwork, and other trauma-informed modalities. Your InnerMost care team will collaborate with you to create a highly personalized treatment plan, designed to meet you exactly where you are on your healing journey.
Ketamine therapy combines ketamine treatment with therapeutic guidance to help you overcome entrenched patterns, process trauma, and rediscover purpose. At InnerMost, we view ketamine as a catalyst for change, supported by expert clinicians to ensure lasting results.
start your journeyKetamine has been shown to reduce depressive symptoms within hours, with relief lasting up to two weeks after a single treatment. For many, conventional medications like antidepressants suppress symptoms without addressing the deeper root causes of suffering—up to 85% of individuals don’t respond to these treatments.
Ketamine is FDA-approved for therapeutic use in the United States.
Ketamine is a safe, well-studied medicine that has been used in clinical settings for over 60 years.
The World Health Organization lists ketamine as one of the 100 most essential medicines in the world.
We work with people who are navigating and managing the following health conditions and associated challenges:
Restores brain connections impacted by stress and trauma, interrupts depressive cycles, and quiets intrusive thoughts.
Surfaces insights, releases repressed emotions safely, and opens space for reflection, compassion, and healing.
Enhances neuroplasticity to support healthier patterns, lifestyle shifts, and renewed motivation for daily life and relationships.
At InnerMost, your ketamine therapy journey begins with compassionate care and thoughtful preparation. Each treatment session takes place in a safe, supportive setting, followed by integration to help you weave insights into lasting change. Our team is with you every step of the way.
You'll begin by meeting with an InnerMost clinician for a 1-hour appointment, typically in telehealth. This call will cover a comprehensive medical and psychological assessment to confirm whether ketamine is an appropriate treatment and if so, which course of treatment to take. If you are currently struggling with intense symptoms, KIT is recommended as a series of six infusions scheduled over the course of three weeks. If you are in ongoing therapy but feeling stuck or wanting to go deeper, KAP sessions of lesser frequency can be more suited. Your clinician will help you determine what is best for you.
If you're eligible to receive ketamine therapy, the next step is a 1-hour preparation session with your own therapist or an InnerMost therapist. This offers an opportunity to set intentions and build safety and a rapport with your therapist. We recommend scheduling at least one preparation session, with the possibility of scheduling additional sessions during the week leading up to your initial ketamine session.
Each session starts with a check-in and vital signs, followed by the administration of ketamine—via intravenous infusion, intramuscular injection, or sublingual lozenges. The acute effects of the treatment can last between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the route of administration, and the entire experience lasts between 90 to 120 minutes—including time in the comfort of our recovery room. The treatment takes place in a private, serene environment, with an optional eye mask, blankets, and ambient music. Vital signs are measured at the beginning and end of each session to ensure the highest level of safety.
Within a few days of your dosing session, every ketamine session is followed by a 1-hour integration session with your therapist to discuss your experience and any shifts in perspective. This offers an essential space to process insights and emotions, translate the experience into your daily life, and deepen the therapeutic process. Integration sessions can happen with your own psychotherapist or with an InnerMost therapist. Integration can also include practices like yoga, journaling, meditation, mindfulness techniques, or listening to music from the session.
Following your integration session, you can check in with the InnerMost team to discuss how things are going and assess the need for ongoing treatments. For those following an infusion series, we recommend six infusion sessions over the course of three to six weeks.
Group KAP Experiences present a new paradigm in ketamine-assisted therapy, designed to open gateways to new ways of being and relating. Our facilitators have curated an experience that combines ketamine with somatic practices, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, therapy, and group work.
Spravato® is the only FDA-approved treatment specifically for depression, and it is covered by most insurances. It can provide transformative relief from depression symptoms. In a Spravato therapy session, a nasal spray form of ketamine (esketamine) is self-administered under the supervision of certified clinical staff. For those who have difficulty responding to other treatments like medication or therapy, Spravato® can have transformative effects and help patients break free from the cycle of depression.
start your journeySpravato has shown to be one of the most promising modalities for treatment-resistant depression (TRD) in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) with suicidal thoughts or actions. Its flexible dosing schedule allows for both acute relief and long-term maintenance. At InnerMost, your Spravato journey begins with compassionate care and thoughtful preparation. Each treatment session takes place in a private, supportive setting, followed by integration to help you weave insights into lasting change. Our team is with you every step of the way.
You'll start by meeting with a member of the InnerMost clinical team for a 1-hour appointment on Zoom to determine Spravato eligibility. This call will cover a comprehensive medical and psychological assessment. We assess your medical history and medication to confirm Spravato is an appropriate treatment, and which course of treatment to take.
A preparation session where your therapist or an InnerMost therapist offers an opportunity to set intentions and build safety and rapport with your therapist. We recommend scheduling at least one session, with the possibility of scheduling additional sessions, within a week leading up to your initial Spravato session. Preparation calls typically last one hour.
Each Spravato session starts with a check-in and vital signs. You will then self-administer Spravato under the supervision of a clinician. During a Spravato-assisted psychotherapy session, the clinician will leave you with your therapist who will help you navigate the insights and experiences that arise during the non-ordinary state. For Spravato solo treatment sessions, the clinician will leave the room and observe you through video monitoring, as you go within to experience your own journey. The treatment takes place in a private, serene environment, with an optional eye mask, blankets, and ambient music. The entire session lasts approximately 120 minutes, followed by recovery time in the comfort of our recovery room. Vitals are measured again at the end of each session to ensure the highest level of safety.
Every Spravato session is followed by a one-hour-long integration session with your therapist, within a few days of your dosing session. During this therapy session, you’ll work with your therapist to discuss your Spravato experience and any shifts in perspective, deepening your therapy work. This offers an essential space to process insights and emotions, helping you translate the experience into your daily life. Integration sessions can happen with your own psychotherapist or with an InnerMost therapist. Integration can also include practices like yoga, journaling, meditation, mindfulness techniques, or listening to music from the treatment.
Spravato is typically administered twice weekly for the first 4 weeks, then weekly or every other week for ongoing maintenance. Following your integration session, you can check in with the InnerMost team to discuss how things are going and assess the need for ongoing treatments.
We are committed to helping individuals engage with psychedelics more safely and intentionally. Rather than judging or pathologizing use, harm reduction honors patient autonomy and focuses on minimizing risks and promoting well-being—through education, post-psychedelic experience support, and integration psychotherapy.
start your journeyA pragmatic approach acknowledges that people are using psychedelics in underground contexts, recreationally, and even legally while abroad, but don’t have a psychedelic informed aftercare program in place. Instead of abstaining from helping people, we acknowledge this use is happening and meet people where they are—regardless of what society thinks about their life choices.
Maximize the therapeutic benefit of non-ordinary states or psychedelic experiences.
Learn to engage with psychedelics more safely and intentionally.
Educate and involve your support system while working with psychedelic medicine.

Our therapists provide a safe, supportive space to explore the patterns and stories that shape your life. Rooted in evidence-based, trauma-informed care, psychotherapy at InnerMost helps you build resilience, gain new perspectives, and create healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. While we don’t offer ongoing medication management, our focus is on fostering the conditions for deep, lasting healing. Our team is trained to incorporate modalities like IFS, AEDP, and Gestalt psychology.
start your journeyWe recognize that not everyone wants to, nor should, begin with ketamine therapy. Ordinary-state psychotherapy offers a safe place to reconnect with your wholeness and create lasting change. For some, this may be all they need; for others, it can serve as a foundation before exploring ketamine or Spravato®.
For those not ready or interested in ketamine, ordinary-state psychotherapy is an option.
Ongoing psychotherapy helps you get the most out of your ketamine or Spravato® treatment.
Psychotherapy helps you keep the doing the work that was started, weeks, months, or years after treatment.

Ketamine is a medicine originally developed as an anesthetic that, at certain doses, can produce psychedelic-like effects. In a therapeutic setting, it can help people safely explore new perspectives and relieve symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mood-related conditions. At InnerMost, ketamine may be offered on its own or paired with psychotherapy to deepen healing.
Ketamine has been safely used in medical settings since the 1960s. Like any psychoactive substance, it can be misused outside of a clinical environment. In a therapeutic context, with medical oversight and professional support, the risk of dependency is low. At InnerMost, we closely monitor your care and adjust treatment to ensure it’s safe and beneficial for you.
Your first step is an intake appointment with one of our medical providers. During this visit, we’ll review your medical and psychological history, discuss your current challenges, and explore whether ketamine or another therapy is the right fit. If ketamine treatment is recommended, you’ll also meet with a therapist for preparation before beginning sessions.
At this time, most insurance providers do not cover ketamine treatment directly. However, some parts of your care—such as intake sessions or psychotherapy—may be eligible for reimbursement. Our team can provide guidance and documentation to help you navigate your options.
We currently offer treatment for adults, ages 18 and over.
The number of sessions varies depending on your individual needs and goals. Some people benefit from a short series of treatments, while others find ongoing therapy—whether ketamine-assisted, Spravato, or traditional psychotherapy—more supportive. Together, we’ll create a plan tailored to you.
Some people may experience short-term side effects such as nausea, changes in blood pressure or heart rate, or disorientation. These effects typically resolve within a few hours. Before beginning treatment, you’ll be carefully screened to make sure ketamine is appropriate for you.
At InnerMost, we believe ketamine has the greatest impact when combined with therapy, a model known as Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). With the support of a therapist, you’ll have space to prepare for your sessions, explore the insights that emerge, and integrate them into your daily life. This emphasis on integration helps turn the experience into meaningful and lasting change. We’re proud to offer KAP within a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment designed for healing.
