Sean Miller, LMSW

Psychotherapist

Sean Miller, LMSW serves as a psychotherapist at Innermost, bringing nearly a decade of experience within psychedelic nonprofits and venture-backed companies into his work as a clinician. His approach is informed by research and evidence-based practice alongside lived experience.

Sean is a graduate of the inaugural cohort of Columbia University’s Psychedelic Therapy Training Program. His clinical experience includes supporting veterans navigating post-military transitions, combat trauma, and moral injury. He has also served as a Study Therapist at the NYU Center for Psychedelic Medicine on multiple clinical trials investigating the efficacy of psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Born and raised in New York City, Sean’s therapeutic orientation emphasizes somatic awareness and presence, attuned to what unfolds moment to moment. He spent formative periods of early adulthood living in the Northern Amazon Basin, learning from and working alongside Indigenous leaders and healers, which informs aspects of the perspective he brings to psychedelic therapy.
