Jane Lipscomb, LMSW
Psychotherapist
Jane Lipscomb, LMSW, is a psychotherapist who works with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression and trauma. Her approach is grounded in the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship focusing on the importance of establishing a strong, nonjudgemental and safe place for a client to grow. She provides ketamine-assisted psychotherapy along with preparation and integration support for clients working with expanded states of consciousness. She believes this transformation extends far beyond the medicine session itself and lies in the commitment to integrating these experiences into one’s life.
Jane earned her Master of Social Work from Columbia University’s School of Social Work and was a part of the second-ever cohort of the Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Training Program. Her training includes evidence-based modalities such as somatic work, EMDR, psychoanalysis, motivational interviewing and mindfulness practices. She has experience working with a wide array of psychedelic substances in FDA clinical trials exploring the efficacy of psychedelic-assisted therapy. Her educational background is in Psychology and Gender and Sexuality Studies, which informs her attentiveness to identity, power, and the social contexts that shape lives.
